Beat the Heat - Summer 2012

I hope you are all doing well. We have new products to introduce to you today.

Rectangle One Piece Dress Ise Cotton

These new Ise cotton rectangle dresses are great for those hot summer days. With a new V neckline, it creates a gentle breezy look. These lightweight dresses are a perfect layer over a camisole and leggings or linen bottoms. We have a few prints to choose from, so check our selection to find the perfect one for you.

Linen Maxi Skirt

Speaking of linen, we have these linen maxi skirts - previously only available in a plain navy - now available in prints. Simple design, but beautiful prints & great quality linen that softens as you wear it. A nice addition to any closet and you can still wear this during the autumn, just add a pair of leggings underneath.

Chizimi Kimono Sleeve Shirts

These are great alternatives to t-shirts. Made of a cotton crepe (chizimi) material, it is quite cool and comfortable. Perfect for those summer get-togethers that you never really know what to wear to.

New Tops and Wide Pants Arrived!

We received new tops and wide pants this week!
Here, Rieko is wearing our new kimono sleeve shirt in mauve pink and the wide pants in scattered clouds pattern.
今週、新しいトップスとパンツが入荷しました！
りえこさんが着ているのは薄蘇芳色のみたてジバンと、ちぎれ雲柄のモスリンの広形もんぺです。


The top is made of Egyptian cotton, so not only it is comfortable against your skin, but it has a sheen and looks almost like silk. You can wear it with jeans for a casual look or you can pair with wide pants for dressier look. These tops are available in black and taupe too!
みたてジバンはエジプト綿製。肌にやさしいだけでなく、シルクのような光沢があります。カジュアルにも、ドレスアップ時にも着ていただけるトップスです。他に利休鼠色と濡羽色があります。

The pants are made of muslin wool, which is derived from merino wool. They are very light-weight so you can wear them in all four seasons.
もんぺはモスリン製です。ウールといってもとても軽い質感なので、季節を問わず年中履いていただけるパンツです。







And I love this long sleeve shirt with big blue dots! It's a great shirt to spice up any old skirt or pants. Rieko is wearing it with our new black wide pants.
These pants are made of bizen weaving cotton, the cotton traditionally used for school uniforms. It comes with an elastic adjustable strap, so it's easy to adjust the size.
These pants are great for casual or dressy occasion, and I'm sure they will be your
wardrobe staple!
そして、今回の新商品の中で私が一番気にいっているのが、このあんこ玉柄の被風ジバンです。着慣れたパンツやスカートでも、このジバンをあわせるだけで一気にインパクトが増します。一緒に着ているのは新作の備前織の広形パンツ。ウエストがゴムと紐使用になっていますので、簡単にサイズ調節できます。このパンツもカジュアルにも、ドレスアップする場合にも着回しいただけます。クローゼットには必須の一着となるでしょう！
